Below we give details of the different types of ink cartridge available and the alternatives you may have for your printer. The different categories are:

Original Ink Cartridges may come in two or more different capacities. Starter ink cartridges, supplied with the printer, usually have the lowest volume of ink. Standard (sometimes called light user) cartridges will have less ink than high yield (sometimes called XL) cartridges. In general, compatible ink cartridges and remanufactured ink cartridges will contain at least as much ink as the largest original ink cartridges and may contain more. This should be taken into account when comparing prices.

Original (also known as OEM) Ink Cartridges are manufactured by or for the original branded printer manufacture and sold under their name. They are, however, generally more expensive than the alternatives. We offer original ink cartridges for all major printer brands including:-

Compatible ink cartridges are made by a third party manufacturer, not connected with the printer manufacturer. They are direct replacements for the OEM cartridges, but are usually considerably cheaper. The compatible cartridges that we sell always have at least as much in in them as the originals. In some cases, they contain more ink for less money, making them particularly good value.

A money saving alternative to buying new cartridges is Ink Refill Kits . We sell a comprehensive range of Inktec award winning ink refill kits and Bulk Ink for refilling your original ink cartridge. The ink is printer specific and is formulated to match the ink in the original cartridge. There is a wide selection of Printer specific Refill kits to choose from, but we have made it as easy as possible for you to the refill kit you need.

Please note that ink refill kits should only be used with Original Ink Cartridges. Remanufactured and compatible ink cartridges are not generally suitable for refilling. We can supply the following ink refill kits::

Remanufactured Cartridges are recycled Original Ink Cartridges that meet or exceed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications. The recycling procedure involves disassembling and replacing worn parts, reassembling, and refilling with ink in a factory environment. Once the remanufacturing process is complete, the cartridge is then print tested, sealed, and packaged for resale. The recycled products we sell include:
